Merseyside claimed a trophy double today with Liverpool striker Fernando Torres named Barclays player of the month and Everton boss David Moyes picking up the manager’s accolade.
Torres scored four goals in February, including his first Premier League hat-trick against Middlesbrough, to move him into third in the race for the Golden Boot.
