Benitez believes pair will commit

Rafael Benitez believes that striker Peter Crouch will soon sign a new long-term contract, and that veteran Sami Hyypia will also agree a one-year extension to his current deal.

There has been speculation that both could leave in the summer, but Hyypia wants to complete 10 years at Anfield and Crouch – Benitez insists – has told the club he wants to stay.
