David Moyes flew back from Oslo today believing his Everton side are maturing in Europe and capable of achieving his boast that they are good enough to win the UEFA Cup and qualify for the Champions League.

Manager Moyes, having seen his side beat Brann Bergen 2-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Cup last 32 tie with the Norwegian champions, stayed on to take a 45-minute flight to Oslo to see the clash between Rosenborg and Fiorentina last night.
