Tardelli to join Trapattoni’s backroom staff

Italian World Cup winner Marco Tardelli is set to join the new Irish management team under Giovanni Trapatoni.

The former Inter Milan coach has confirmed that he will be teaming up with his ex-boss, whom he played under at Juventus.

Tardelli met FAI representatives in Milan on Tuesday and has agreed a two-year contract.
