Quinn welcomes Trappatoni talks
Sunderland Chairman Niall Quinn has welcomed the news that the FAI search for a new manager is drawing to a close.
The Irish Examiner reported today that former Italian boss Giovanni Trappatoni is set to assume the reigns and be confirmed as Steve Staunton's successor on Wednesday.
The former Irish star striker Quinn believes if that is the case Liam Brady has to be part of the set up.
The Sunderland boss made his comments while on a flying visit to Dublin to back the Dublin Bus invitation to charities in the capital to apply for some of the uncollected fare refund money.
