A compromise between Portsmouth and Manchester City means Benjani Mwaruwari’s transfer to Eastlands will finally go through today.

The two clubs had reached an impasse after City tried to back out of the original deal last Thursday night but Pompey called in the Premier League, claiming the 29-year-old’s move had already been completed.
