Whittaker takes Hutton's Rangers place

Rangers will be without Alan Hutton for tomorrow’s CIS Cup semi-final against Hearts after agreeing a £9m move to Tottenham.

Hutton is on the verge of completing the transfer after travelling to London to thrash out terms with the Premier League club and will be replaced at right-back by Steven Whittaker.

Kevin Thomson remains sidelined with a groin injury, while the clash at Hampden comes too soon for long-term casualties Steven Smith and Andy Webster.
