UCD seeking €40k compensation from Candystripes

UCD are believed to be seeking up to €40,000 in compensation from Derry City for goalkeeper Darren Quigley.

The Irish under-21 international is out of contract with the Students, but the club is entitled to a fee as he is under 23.

Meanwhile, Derry goalkeeper Pat Jennings is set to move to Sligo Rovers on loan.

Elsewhere, St Patrick's Athletic are expected to announce the signing of 20-year-old Irish international Joseph O'Cearuill from Barnet.
