Villa reject Cahill offer

Aston Villa have rejected an offer from Birmingham for central defender Gary Cahill – and Martin O’Neill insisted he is in “no hurry” to offload the player.

Blues manager Alex McLeish has revealed his interest in Cahill and has been given permission by O’Neill to speak to him about a possible switch to St Andrews.
