Chelsea duo combine in Ivory Coast win

Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou both scored as Ivory Coast defeated Kuwait 2-0 in a friendly on Saturday.

Ivory Coast took the lead in the 36th minute when Kalou received a neat pass from Aruna Dindane before firing home and the Elephants made it 2-0 four minutes before the break when skipper Drogba, who was starting his first game since having a knee operation last month, scored from a powerful free kick.

Ivory Coast were reduced to 10 men when defender Jaba Andrisi was sent off for a foul on Kuwait striker Bader Al Mutawa with 11 minutes left on the clock.
