Allardyce warns clubs off Taylor move

Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce has moved to warn off clubs thinking of making a bid for England Under-21 captain Steven Taylor.

Tottenham are believed to be ready to ask about the 21-year-old’s availability after being rebuffed by Middlesbrough over an enquiry about England international Jonathan Woodgate.
