West Ham manager Alan Curbishley has more injury worries ahead of the trip to Arsenal on New Year’s Day.

Midfielders Nolberto Solano (hamstring) and Scott Parker (knee) had to be taken off during Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United and ex-Gunner Freddie Ljungberg is being hampered by a hamstring problem.

The Hammers are already without a whole team of injured players, including Craig Bellamy, Kieron Dyer and Bobby Zamora and although Julien Faubert, Matthew Etherington and Lee Bowyer are all back in training Curbishley had originally planned to give them until the weekend.

Provisional squad: Green, Wright, Neill, Upson, Ferdinand, Spector, McCartney, Noble, Mullins, Pantsil, Ashton, Cole, Camara, Ljungberg, Parker, Solano, Bowyer, Etherington, Faubert, Reid
