Strachan: No new faces for Rangers clash

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan all but promised to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window but told fans they will not see a new face in the side for Wednesday’s Old Firm game at Parkhead.

Strachan has been strongly linked with Germany full-back Andreas Hinkel, one-time Brazil international defender Coelho and Everton striker James McFadden, who was subject of a failed loan bid by the Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions.
