Cole back for Hammers
West Ham striker Carlton Cole is hoping to break up Dean Ashton and Henri Camara’s partnership when the Hammers host Reading on St Stephen's Day.
Cole was absent for the 2-1 victory at Middlesbrough on Saturday after picking up his fifth booking of the season but is available again, with Camara looking the more vulnerable after Ashton scored a fine equaliser at the Riverside.
Boss Alan Curbishley will hope James Collins (groin) and Luis Boa Morte (thigh) are back after each failed fitness tests ahead of the Boro clash but long-term absentees Calum Davenport (groin), Matthew Etherington (groin), Craig Bellamy (stomach strain), Anton Ferdinand (hamstring), Lee Bowyer (groin), Bobby Zamora (knee), Kieron Dyer (broken leg) and Julien Faubert (Achilles) are out.
Team from: Green, Neill, McCartney, Gabbidon, Upson, Ljungberg, Parker, Ashton, Pantsil, Solano, Noble, Mullins, Spector, Collins, Wright, Walker, Camara, Cole.
