Clarke plans return

Sunderland defender Clive Clarke is still in the dark over why he almost lost his life earlier this season but insists he is ready to return to action.

While on loan at Leicester, the 27-year-old collapsed in the dressing-room during half-time in the Foxes’ Carling Cup clash with Nottingham Forest in August.
