Solano returns for Hammers

Nolberto Solano will return to the West Ham side against Everton after being cup-tied for the Carling Cup quarter-final defeat to the same opponents.

Carlton Cole is struggling with a hip problem, meaning the Hammers could be down to just one fit recognised striker in Dean Ashton. Luis Boa Morte is doubtful after suffering a thigh injury on Wednesday night, while Craig Bellamy (abdominal) and Bobby Zamora (knee) are already long-term absentees.

Matthew Etherington and centre-back James Collins are both battling to overcome groin injuries but Lee Bowyer could return after undergoing a hernia operation.
