Savage on bench for Blackburn

Robbie Savage has been named on the bench for Blackburn’s Premier League clash with Fulham today.

Savage declared himself available after recovering from a knee operation but Rovers boss Mark Hughes has opted against starting the Wales midfielder.

Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz is rested after returning late from international duty, while Tugay comes in for the suspended David Dunn.

Paul Konchesky returns for Fulham after completing his three-match ban, with Carlos Bocanegra drops to the bench. Diomansy Kamara starts up front.
