Sbragia back with Sunderland
Ricky Sbragia has returned to Sunderland to join Roy Keane’s coaching staff.
Bolton this evening confirmed that the Scot has returned to the Stadium of Light, where he previously worked under Peter Reid.
Sbragia said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bolton. The club has got great staff, players and fans and I wish them all the best – except when they are playing Sunderland!”
The 51-year-old left Wearside for Manchester United in 2002 and guided the club’s reserve team to four trophies before being snapped up by then Bolton boss Sam Allardyce in October 2005.
He becomes the latest recruit to Keane’s behind-the-scenes team as he follows the likes of fellow United old boys Neil Bailey, Mick Brown and Raimond van der Gouw to the north-east.
