Irish players want best man for the job

FAI boss John Delaney faces a crunch meeting with a number of senior players at which he will simply be told: “Just get the best manager for the job.”

Delaney and the rest of the FAI board will now start their search for a new manager in earnest following the conclusion on Saturday of Ireland's poor European Championship qualifying campaign.
