Ireland take on Wales in an end to Euro 08
A disappointing Euro 2008 qualifying campaign for Ireland will come to an end this afternoon.
Don Givens takes charge of the side for the trip to Cardiff to take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium.
Captain Robbie Keane was yesterday passed fit to start as was goalkeeper Shay Given and Paul McShane who partners John O'Shea at the centre of the defence. Kick-off for the game is at 3pm.
Elsewhere in Group D Germany host Cyprus and the Czech Republic take on neighbours Slovakia.
Northern Ireland can keep their slim hopes of qualification alive with a win over Denmark in Group F at Windsor Park.
Scotland can seal their passage to Euro 2008 competition this afternoon. A win at home to World Champions Italy will be enough to guarantee Alex McLeish's side play in next summer's tournament.
Meanwhile, all English eyes will be on Tel-Aviv this evening. A win for Russia away to Israel will ensure that Steve McClaren's men spend next summer at home.
England last night had an unconvincing 1-0 friendly win over Austria.
