O'Dea and Bruce called up to Ireland squad
Don Givens today made two fresh call ups to the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of this weekend's Euro qualifier with Wales in Cardiff.
Celtic's Darren O'Dea and Ipswich Town's Alex Bruce are set to join up with the rest of the players at their base in Wales.
That's after Richard Dunne, Stephen Kelly and Andy O'Brien were ruled out of contention due to injury.
Sunderland's Ian Harte and Wolves' Kevin Foley were also considered as additions to the squad, their clubs later revealed neither is fit to play.
Meanwhile, Shay Given returned to full training in Newcastle today, and is set to arrive at the training camp tomorrow to continue his build-up for the game.
It's hoped he'll be back to full-fitness in time to take full part in the match at the Millennium Stadium this Saturday.
