Hutchings sacked by Wigan

Wigan Athletic have parted company with manager Chris Hutchings, who took over from Paul Jewell at the end of last season, this morning.

Assistant manager Frank Barlow will take charge of the first team on a caretaker basis for Sunday's Premier League trip to Tottenham.
