Gardner out for Spurs

Anthony Gardner’s ankle injury rules him out of Tottenham’s Premier League trip to Middlesbrough tomorrow and the defender will be sidelined for up to six weeks.

Ledley King (knee) is in the final stages of rehabilitation but not ready, Ricardo Rocha (ankle) is out, while Gareth Bale (foot) has been jogging this week.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto (ankle) has been running in training again.
