Miller face fitness race for Rams

Derby striker Kenny Miller faces a race against time as he bids to be fit for the Rams’ trip to Aston Villa.

The Scotland international suffered a slight hamstring strain during last weekend’s defeat to Everton and is a major doubt as County attempt to secure their first away win of the season.

Defender Andy Todd is still some way from a first-team return with back and hamstring problems but otherwise manager Billy Davies has reported a fully-fit squad, with several players having made a full recovery from a bout of flu which swept the staff last week.
