Dave Warren scored an 84th minute equaliser as Waterford salvaged a precious point at the RSC.

The result moves Blues three points ahead of bottom side Longford Town with two games to play.

Warren struck as Drogheda failed to clear after David Grincell flicked on keeper Dean Delaney's free-kick; the midfielder volleying home from close range.

Champions Drogheda led from the 73rd minute when home-town boy Shane Robinson sidefooted home after great work by Ollie Cahill down the left.
