Liam Kearney put Cork City into the FAI Ford Cup final on December 2 with a brilliantly taken brace of goals.

Cork started brightly and both John O'Flynn and Denis Behan shot narrowly wide inside the opening 12 minutes.

But Cork's early pressure told on 25 minutes when they deservedly took the lead.

Leon McSweeney, who started on the right wing, whipped over a low cross and Kearney tucked the ball home.

Bohs got into it and Darren Mansaram brought a good stop from Michael Devine before half-time.

But Bohs continued to struggle generally and Cork killed them off on 77 minutes.

Again McSweeney was instrumental with a super run and pass to Kearney who shot past Brian Murphy.
