New Bolton manager Gary Megson will turn to the club’s coaching staff for help in picking the team to face Aston Villa on Sunday.

Megson, though, indicated that one or two players may be rested following the 1-1 draw against Braga in the UEFA Cup last night.

He said: “It will not be a decision based on what I feel. That would not be the right thing.

“I will be sitting down tomorrow with the coaching staff to see what we need to do. They have more experience of the players than me.”

Christian Wilhelmsson, Jlloyd Samuel and Ricardo Vaz Te remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
