Nelsen doubt for Rovers

Blackburn captain Ryan Nelsen remains an injury doubt for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League trip to Tottenham.

Nelsen has returned to training after a long-standing hamstring problem but manager Mark Hughes today revealed the defender is still suffering some discomfort.

Midfielder Steven Reid will continue building up his match fitness in the reserves after recovering from a 14-month lay off with back and knee problems, while Jason Roberts is still struggling with a thigh injury.
