All change for Celtic
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan makes four changes to his side for their Champions League clash with Benfica at the Stadium of Light tonight.
Skipper Stephen McManus, carried off on a stretcher with concussion in the 3-0 defeat by Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday, has recovered to take his place in the centre of the Parkhead defence alongside John Kennedy, who replaces Darren O’Dea.
Shunsuke Nakamura and Evander Sno are left out of the midfield, replaced by Aiden McGeady and fit-again Paul Hartley – who has overcome a hamstring injury picked up against Gretna more than a fortnight ago.
Striker Scott McDonald surprisingly starts on the bench, his lone-striker’s position taken by Chris Killen who is starting his first game for Celtic in the tournament since signing from Hibernian in the summer.
Benfica go in to the game bottom of Group D after two defeats against AC Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk, but legend Rui Costa returns after being rested for the cup game against Vitoria at the weekend.
