Anelka doubtful for return to Arsenal

Managerless Bolton could be without star striker Nicolas Anelka for tomorrow’s visit to Arsenal.

The French international missed Wednesday’s Euro 2008 clash with a thigh injury and has not yet recovered, although stand-in boss Archie Knox will give Anelka every chance to prove his fitness.

Christian Wilhelmsson (ankle) is also doubtful as Bolton look to start the long climb out of trouble following Wednesday’s dismissal of Sammy Lee.
