Bray Wanderers 1 Derry City 1

Paul Dunphy earned Bray a dramatic late point with a goal two minutes into stoppage time.

Alan Cawley's long free-kick into the Derry box wasn't cleared and Paul Caffrey set up Dunphy to shoot past Patrick Jennings in the Derry goal.

Derry started brightly with Bray keeper Steve Williams in action twice early on before the Candystripes took the lead on 26 minutes.

Ruaidhri Higgins and Kevin Deery worked a short corner which picked out Gareth McGlynn whose close-range shot was deflected into the far corner of the net.

Bray pressed over the last quarter and came close to equalising on 82 minutes.

Cawley's corner ran through to substitute Gary McCabe who should have done better than plant his header wide before Dunphy worked the oracle on 92 minutes.
