Warnock confirmed as Palace boss

Neil Warnock has today been named as the new manager of Crystal Palace.

The former Sheffield United boss has stepped back into management 148 days after quitting Bramall Lane following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

Palace chairman Simon Jordan turned to Warnock after sacking Peter Taylor on Monday with the Eagles languishing in a lowly 19th place in the Coca-Cola Championship.
