Staunton rallies squad, Miller joins up

Republic of Ireland manager Steve Staunton has injury worries ahead of the game against Germany but he's not letting that get him down.

The squad train again at Malahide today ahead of Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Germany.

Yesterday, Sunderland midfielder Liam Miller was called up to the squad as cover for injury doubts Andy Reid and Darren Potter.

Ireland's chances of qualifying for the finals are remote, but Reading striker Shane Long says getting the chance to play a side like Germany at Croke Park is a dream come true for him.
