Terry and Essien return to training

Chelsea are waiting on the fitness of John Terry ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League match with Valencia, but Frank Lampard has been ruled out.

Centre-back Terry suffered a facial injury during Saturday’s draw with Fulham, and Chelsea coach Avram Grant will see how he fares during tonight’s training session before making a decision on his availability.
