Naismith to miss Rangers Cup tie

Rangers striker Steven Naismith misses tomorrow’s CIS Insurance Cup third-round match against East Fife with an ankle injury he sustained against Aberdeen on Sunday.

Andy Webster (ankle) remains sidelined, but Ugo Ehiogu and Thomas Buffel are expected to return from long injury lay-offs.

Roy Carroll, Chris Burke and Alan Gow are all set to come into the team, while the likes of Kirk Broadfoot, Nacho Novo, Charlie Adam and Brahim Hemdani could also be involved, with some senior men due to stand down.
