Darren Mansaram put 10-man Bohemians into the last four of the FAI Ford Cup with a super double in this quarter-final thriller at Richmond Park.

Bohs started much the better and unsettled St Pat's from the whistle, fully deserving their 25th minute lead.

Having just changed his boots, striker Mansaram collected Des Byrne's precise pass into the box to turn Stephen Paisley all too easily and shoot low past Barry Ryan.

But Byrne let his team down by getting himself sent off for a silly lunge into Keith Fahey on 44 minutes to get a second booking and give St Pat's great hope for the second half.

Saints duly levelled on 57 minutes when Fahey beat the badly positioned Alan Blayney with a 25-yard free-kick after Owen Heary fouled Alan Kibry.

But Mansaram won it for Bohs with a long-range drive on 64 minutes which Saints' keeper Barry Ryan won't want to see again as it squirmed through his hands and into the net.
