Campo returns to Bolton side

Ivan Campo makes a surprise return to the Bolton team for the first time this season for today’s crucial Premier League match against Tottenham at the Reebok Stadium.

Such is Bolton’s poor form, he is recalled by manager Sammy Lee in place of midfielder Gavin McCann.

Lee makes two other changes to the side that drew with Rabotnicki in the UEFA Cup in midweek.

Joey O’Brien makes his first start for 15 months after a knee injury while Andy O’Brien also returns. Nicky Hunt and Gerald Cid stand down.

Spurs boss Martin Jol pairs Dimitar Berbatov with Robbie Keane up front. Jermain Defoe does not even travel while midfielder Teemu Tainio makes his first appearance since the opening day.
