McGregor extends Ibrox terms
Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor has revealed he has signed a new three-year contract at Ibrox.
The 25-year-old had vowed to leave the club at the start of last season but was given his chance under Paul Le Guen when Frenchman Lionel Letizi was injured.
He eventually convinced Le Guen he was the number one goalkeeper and has retained the jersey under Walter Smith.
āIām here for another three years now and Iām delighted about that,ā McGregor said.
āI wanted to leave last year because I didnāt think I was going to play. The only reason I did get in the team was because of Lionel Letiziās injury.
āIt can take someone elseās misfortune to give you that chance, so Iām glad it happened and that I stayed at the club in the end.ā
