Bolton defender Andy O’Brien could return to the starting line-up for the Barclays Premier League match against Tottenham on Sunday.

O’Brien was only on the bench for the 1-1 draw with Rabotnicki in the UEFA Cup last night after suffering stiffness in both legs during the defeat by Birmingham.

He could replace Gerald Cid while midfielder Christian Wilhelmsson might come into contention after a thigh strain as Bolton look to improve on a run of five defeats in six league games.

Team (from): Jaaskelainen, J O’Brien, Hunt, Meite, A O’Brien, Cid, Gardner, Wilhelmsson, Teymourian, Nolan, Speed, McCann, Alonso, Braaten, Guthrie, Diouf, Anelka, Davies, Al Habsi.
