Jol issues Defoe challenge

Tottenham manager Martin Jol has urged Jermain Defoe to seize his chance to impress if he is given an opportunity against Anorthosis Famagusta in the UEFA Cup.

Defoe was upset after failing to make the bench against Arsenal at the weekend but is likely to be in the squad on Thursday against Famagusta at White Hart Lane.
