Drogba, Lampard out for Chelsea

Chelsea are without striker Didier Drogba and midfielder Frank Lampard for their opening Champions League game against Rosenborg at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.

Chelsea are without striker Didier Drogba and midfielder Frank Lampard for their opening Champions League game against Rosenborg at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.

Drogba is out with a knee problem and Lampard remains troubled by his thigh injury.

Peru striker Claudio Pizarro is doubtful with a calf strain and Michael Ballack and Wayne Bridge miss out with ankle problems. Centre-half Ricardo Carvalho is also out with a thigh injury.
