Kilbane out for Fulham visit

Kevin Kilbane will miss Wigan’s home game against Fulham on Saturday as he serves a one-match ban for his sending-off in the Latics’ 1-0 defeat at Newcastle a fortnight ago.

Emmerson Boyce looks set to fill in at left-back with Cameroon international Salomon Olembe, who played for the reserves on Wednesday night, not yet fully match-fit following his recent signing.

Dutch winger Rachid Bouaouzan will be included in Chris Hutchings’ squad for the first time since his arrival from Sparta Rotterdam, but Antonio Valencia (knee) and Denny Landzaat (fractured eye socket) are out.
