Cruz delighted with Inter deal

Argentina striker Julio Cruz claimed that he now considered Internazionale his home after extending his deal with the Italian champions until 2009.

Cruz, 32, signed on the dotted line on Friday with the Nerazzurri and afterwards revealed his delight.

He told club website www.inter.it: “I am very happy to have signed on for two more years. It’s my fifth season with the Nerazzurri and now I feel like it’s my home.

“I will try and keep giving the best of myself in training and games for the benefit of the club which has always showed its faith in me.”
