Ireland continue preparations for Slovakia clash

The Ireland team continue their preparations today ahead of Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier in Slovakia.

Paul McShane and John O'Shea are both on track to start in Bratislava after shaking off recent injuries.

Manager Stephen Staunton has also opted not to draft in a replacement for Steve Finnan, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.

Staunton is leaving room for the Liverpool defender to join up with the squad next week ahead of Wednesday's match against the Czech Republic.

Wolves midfielder Darren Potter may also join up with the rest of the squad in Prague.
