Waterford routed by St Pat's
St Patrick's Athletic 4 Waterford United 1
Keith Barker scored twice inside six minutes as St Pat's got their title challenge back on track.
A stunning long range strike from Keith Fahey gave St Pat's the boost of a ninth minute lead.
Fahey gained possession some 35 yards out and, seeing Dean Delaney slightly off his line, chipped the Blues' keeper for a sublime goal.
St Pat's doubled their lead on 37 minutes. Joseph Ndo split the defence for the run of Mark Quigley who shot low past Delaney.
Blues hit back five minutes into the second half when Robbie Hedderman headed home.
But Barker got his first on 82 minutes when shooting to the net from the edge of the area.
An idenikit goal brought his second and Saints' fourth minutes later.
