Becks to sit out Colarado clash

David Beckham will be rested for the Los Angeles Galaxy's Major League Soccer clash with Colorado Rapids on Sunday after his globe-trotting exploits of the last week.

After evaluating Beckham's condition following Thursday's 3-0 loss to Chivas, Los Angeles coach Frank Yallop decided to rest the midfielder for the next match.
