Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been ruled out of the England squad for Wednesday’s international against Germany.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been ruled out of the England squad for Wednesday’s international against Germany.

The midfielder, who played in his team’s 1-1 Barclays Premier League draw against Chelsea yesterday, was set to have an X-ray on his fractured toe today.
