Pat's grab a late winner at Bray
Bray Wanderers 1St Patrick's Athletic 2
Keith Fahey put St. Patrick's through the quarter-finals of the FAI Ford Cup with a stoppage time winner.
With the tie seemingly set for a replay, Fahey got on the end of a cross to beat Steve Williams with a deflected shot.
St. Pat's ran much of the first half and were more than good value for their interval lead.
That came on 13 minutes. Michael Foley's free-kick deflected off the wall to run kindly for Mark Quigley who spun to volley home through a crowd penalty area.
It might have been 2-0 a minute before the break. Fahey's ball sent Anto Murphy away down the right and his cross was deflected out for a corner off Gary Cronin.
Bray pressed hard throughout the second half and got their reward on 81 minutes when Clive Delaney stabbed home after his first header from Alan Cawley's cross was cleared off the line.
St. Pat's then had Murphy sent off for a second booking and seemed set for a replay until Fahey's 93rd minute intervention cruelly put Bray out of the cup.
