Owen in Magpies squad

Michael Owen will return to the Newcastle squad for tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League clash with Aston Villa at St James’s Park after successfully recovering from a thigh injury.

There is more good news for boss Sam Allardyce as Owen could be joined on the bench by Turkish midfielder Emre, who has also returned to full training after an ankle complaint.
