Doyle starts again

Birmingham goalkeeper Colin Doyle is set to be given a vote of confidence for tomorrow night’s clash with Sunderland at St Andrew’s, despite his shaky Barclays Premier League debut at Chelsea on Sunday.

Bruce is likely to make just one change to the side which lost 3-2 at Stamford Bridge, with Stuart Parnaby set to start in defence in place of Frank Queudrue (ankle).

Damien Johnson (hamstring), Martin Taylor (torn stomach muscle), Mat Sadler (Achilles) and Rafael Schmitz (Achilles) remain sidelined.
